Residential Development, Rustat Road, Cambridge

The scheme consists of 143 dwellings with a mix of houses, apartments and maisonettes. Core Architects have produced working drawings and tender information for Charles Church and Persimmon homes. Construction commenced on site in April 2011.

The construction is predominantly timber frame and cladding on a concrete semi basement car park and podium. Affordable units are designed to satisfy Code for Sustainable Homes and the site includes photo voltaic renewable energy.

Initial design and planning stages was completed by HTA.

Core Architects have further current and completed projects for Persimmon Homes including sites at: Arbury, Cambridge; Stanground, Peterborough; King Reach, Biggleswade and Wooton Road, Kings Lynn.

This bespoke 25 dwelling scheme is Core Architects latest completed project for Linden Homes (formally Stamford Homes). We have provided full working drawings, fully compliant with Life Time Homes and Housing Federation standards. We have further current and completed projects for Linden Homes including sites at: St Ives, Lincoln, Gainsborough and Oakham.

Our latest project for Kier Partnership Homes is located in Stamford and consists of 45 dwellings including Housing Authority units, Private Houses and Apartments. Core Architects have been appointed to provide a full working drawing package.

Other projects for Kier Partnership Homes and Allison Homes include sites at Spalding and Bourne.

Core Architects were appointed from inception to completion in summer 2011. New Detached Dwelling, Friskney, Lincs

Core Architects have worked closely with our client to gain detailed planning permission for this new built detached dwelling for the family and their disabled son. The brief called for the scheme to function as a singular family home whilst allowing for privacy and individual spaces for all family members. The house has both traditional and contemporary design elements and materials, and includes sustainable heating systems and rainwater harvesting.

The project is on site and is due for completion in late 2011.
