An extension to and refurbishment of an existing vacant health clinic to form new primary care facilities for Lincolnshire PCT. Core Architects were appointed from inception to completion in summer 2011. The scheme provides new purpose built consulting and treatment rooms, open plan waiting areas, administrative and meeting spaces, all designed with end users input and future flexibility in mind.

Core Architects have now obtained Planning Approval and Listed Building Consent for extensive internal remodelling and extensions to increase the teaching and social spaces at Redcliffe College.

The proposals include  extensions to form additional seminar spaces, refurbishment of the existing building to rationalise library rooms, upgrading of toilet and shower facilities and new kitchen and dining areas.

It is anticipated the scheme will start on start around May 2012 and be complete by December 2012.

Core Architects were appointed to provide architectural services for the refurbishment and provision of new floor and heating system at Washingborough Methodist Church. The proposals also included the provision of a new formal front entrance from the street to allow full access to the building. The new floor, redesign of the entrance and internal layout alterations, has allowed multi function uses of the building, which has given the Church a wide range of uses from conferences to social gatherings.

Core Architects worked with Lincolnshire PCT and local Doctors to provide a full design service from planning to completion for this extension to an existing medical centre. The extension provided new clinical rooms and training facilities.
